Xavier Basement + Kitchen Remodel

The homeowners of this midcentury home in the Sloan Lake neighborhood came to us to remodel both their kitchen and basement.  Basements & Beyond opened the wall between the kitchen and dining room, refinished the hardwood floors on the main level of the home and reconfigured the kitchen to add new cabinetry, countertops, appliances, lighting to the space.  The new layout allows a better connection to the dining room, as well as a beautiful waterfall countertop detail between the two spaces, a black farmhouse sink, frameless euro cabinetry to appeal to the modern aesthetic and high end appliances finish out the look.  The once non-functional area along the stair wall now houses the microwave and gives the homeowners an additional prep space for cooking.

In the basement, we added a new wet bar in the basement with sink and undercounter refrigerator, a wood plank accent wall and new flooring to warm-up the space.  The finished product gives the homeowners a comfortable space to watch television or entertain guests.
