Master Bathroom Masterpiece
This two hundred and sixty square foot master bath remodel was inspired by the customer’s vision of having an open space allowing light to pass through to the entire bathroom. During the design process the location of the shower and how it related to the window where taken into careful consideration. Custom glass tiles where used on the wall to reflect light, while a frameless European style clear glass shower door was used to allow maximum light filtration to the rest of the Master Bathroom.
During the design of the double vanity cabinets, glass tiles where used again around the mirrors to help reflect light around the bathroom. While the custom designer finished cabinets keep all of the everyday toiletries neatly organized. A separate dressing nook and table was also designed to create extra storage space without compromising floor space.
By using a variety of natural and made products such as glass and solid quartz surfaces this Master Bathroom has become an inspiration of detail and comfort built for two.
Award: 2012 2nd Place Care Award for Standard Bathroom
The “Masterpiece” Master Bath in Golden was a second place CARE award winner in the Standard Bathroom category for showing an excellent use of space and a unique and detailed tile layout. The Colorado Awards for Remodeling Excellence, known as the CARE awards, are the largest and longest running contest recognizing remodeling of all types, including both commercial and residential. Categories are numerous, and include kitchens, bathrooms, green building, and much more. Unlike other HBA-sponsored design contests, CARE is open to all, not just members of the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver or its Remodelers Council. CARE awards are judged blind by local volunteers, making it a fair competition that recognizes excellence in remodeling, no matter the authorship
