St. Paul Basement Remodel

This Cory-Merrill neighborhood new build home had a massive unfinished basement just waiting for a family to use. The space was designed for a couple with two young kids in mind. As you enter the space, an open hall with coffered ceilings directs you to either the left or right.

On the right side, the kids have their own playroom connecting an under-stairs fort through a small passage. A comfortable bath with large shower and laundry is adjacent to the office/bedroom with a hidden door to a sizeable storage room.

On the left, you have an open concept living/entertainment area. The kitchen includes a stainless Sub-Zero refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and open shelving. Next to the kitchen is a temperature-controlled, walk-in wine cellar. The family room is equipped with a gas insert fireplace, built-in bookshelves and even enough room for a gaming table.
