Award Winning Luxury Basement in Parker
This basement finish won an award for luxury basements in the 2010 Colorado Award for Remodeling Excellence and it is easy to see why. This project has an immense amount of architecturally designs and uniqueness.
As this is a walk out basement, we matched the exterior stone to the columns on the inside of the basement. The main floor had plenty of wood trim detail, so this was carried through the basement with the wood beam ceiling details. The wet bar is in close proximity to the TV area and pool table to keep the entertaining in one area.
Due to the ample natural light from the many windows in this basement, we were able to build an inviting exercise room, with glass walls flanked in stone columns, and a solid half inch glass door.
A well appointed craft room with island cabinets and Silestone countertops make this room a great place for studying or working on projects.
Lastly, this basement would not be complete without a nice bedroom and 3/4 bathroom, which this project has.
Award: 2010 CARE Award for Basement Luxury, 3rd Place
The Colorado Awards for Remodeling Excellence, known as the CARE awards, are the largest and longest running contest recognizing remodeling of all types, including both commercial and residential. Categories are numerous, and include kitchens, bathrooms, green building, and much more. Unlike other HBA-sponsored design contests, CARE is open to all, not just members of the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver or its Remodelers Council. CARE awards are judged blind by local volunteers, making it a fair competition that recognizes excellence in remodeling, no matter the authorship.
