Garage Conversion + Addition

This 1955 split-level artist’s home is located in the Virginia Village neighborhood of Denver, Colorado.  Basements & Beyond reconfigured the attached workshop and exterior walkway between the home and garage into a much more functional layout for the homeowners.  We converted the rough workshop space into a large family room and framed-in the exterior walkway to be a more cohesive part of the home.  The finished space gave these homeowners a warmer entry into their home, as well as an additional family room space complete with dog-run to the exterior.  The new entrance to the garage no longer requires the homeowners to trek outside.  The homeowner customized their space with their signature pantone color palette, custom modern artwork and lighting.
