Lowry Award Winning Basement

This basement remodel was truly tailored to the homeowner’s needs.  In the family room, two operable bookcase doors open to give the homeowner access to hidden storage space behind the wall, as well as framing out the media center and giving them open storage.

Throughout the basement, the concrete floor was stained to create a lasting, durable custom finish throughout the space.  The bedroom is carpeted and showcases the homeowner’s antique bed.  A craft room was created with built-in cabinetry and double french doors to give the homeowner a work space for hobbies like sewing and craft projects.

In the bathroom, the vanity features glazed cabinetry, carrara marble countertops and an 8″ spread faucet for a classic, tailored look.  The shower has been tiled with traditional subway tile and a poured shower pan with a chrome showerhead and handshower to finish the look.
