Modern Denver Home Remodel

Location: Congress Park, Denver
Project type: Whole House Remodel
Year house built: 1940
Landmark: No
Year completed: 2018
For this whole house remodel, our clients sought to elevate and reimagine a 1940s home, while retaining some of its historic character. From the kitchen and laundry room, to the primary bed and bath—as well as a basement remodel—this multi-faceted project came with plenty of creative challenges and opportunities. The resulting design blends traditional features, like exposed brick and lighting fixtures, with modern storage solutions—like top-hinged upper wall cabinets. The kitchen, in particular, boasts a number of gorgeous details, including double french doors, floating wood shelves and a black apron-front sink with a pull-down faucet.
